TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Situated on the shores of Lake Garda, the biggest amusement park in Italy has been a focal point for fun for all ages for more than twenty-five years. The park covers an area of about 46 hectares and is located in Castelnuovo del Garda between Lazise and Peschiera about 20km from LM House apartments. Featuring 38 attractions and 4 theme villages, Gardaland is today the biggest fun park in Italy and among the largest in Europe, and offers its guests 11 different shows and 5 theme restaurants, all immersed in wonderful surroundings of flowers, greenery and a charming atmosphere.
CANEVAWORLD MOVILAND PARK RESORT
It is situated in Lazise, Lake Garda. The resort came to life in the 1960s with the opening of a dance hall and the establishment of sporting facilities which, at the beginning of the 1980s, laid down the base for a real and proper amusement park. With the advent of the water slide, a resort with a collection of swimming pools, water amusements and underwater attractions was opened in Italy for the first time. Following on from this, one of the very first wave pools in Europe was built. In 2002,as the cherry on the cake for this already fantastic site, ‘Park Studios’ was built, the first entertainment park in Italy dedicated to the great Hollywood productions, where you can lose yourself in the wonderful world of cinema.
Immersed in an estate with a surface area of 600.000 metres squared in Valeggio sul Mincio, Parco Sigurtà is an ecological oasis 8 kilometres from Peschiera and Lake Garda. Its origins date back to the year 1617 as the garden of Villa Maffei, which was subsequently the general quarters of Napoeon III following the battle of Solferino and San Martino. In the twentieth century the park continued to develop, above all thanks to the attentions of Carlo Sigurtà who bought it in 1941, and who by means of the right to take water from the Mincio, succeeded in transforming what would have been a predominantly dry zone into lush and thriving land; the project was carried on by his nephew Enzo Sigurtà. In 1978 the park was opened to the public.
This is surely the best fauna park in Northern Italy and is divided into two sections: Safari Park, which is visited by car along a route which allows the public to see the animals by means of a more modern approach, and which is especially less invasive for the animals; Fauna Park, which is visited on foot during a 2-3 hour walk. This zone also features a play area for children, a dinosaur section and obviously refreshment stops.
SPORT
For lovers of activity holidays and sports enthusiasts, Lake Garda and its surroundings make up the most comprehensive training ground for both the amateur and the competitive sportsperson.
In addition to natural and cultural beauty, Lake Garda offers you the chance to experience the adrenalin of go-karting. The go-kart tracks of the Garda area are equipped with different types of circuit and go-kart, so as to provide a unique experience that will satisfy all enthusiasts, from professionals to amateurs, from the oldest to the youngest. Among the most well-known, we would like to mention South Garda Karting which throughout the year hosts significant international events and is located extremely close to our apartments in Lonato del Garda.
LM House is situated just a few minutes from the most exclusive golf club on Lake Garda. On the ARZAGA course you can play golf in the fabulous greenery of the extraordinary surroundings just beyond the lake’s shores. An experience not to be missed and which can be enjoyed year round, thanks to the mild climate of the lake.
LM House is situated just a few minutes from the respected skeet shooting club TRAP CONCAVERDE which is recognised at international level. It is the only facility in Italy and Europe with 12 shooting ranges.
